Problem
What is the main difference between the 2001 and 2004 Bit-Drivers?
Solution
- The 2001 Bit-Driver® is a very basic RS-232 unit that supports Asynchronous communication.
- The 2004 Bit-Driver® is a RS-232 unit but it supports Synchronous communication. This unit transmits
both clock and data through the fiber, has a higher through put, and has a built in loop back test switch on the
front panel.
