Problem
Could I only connect the Tx fiber from 2170 to 2171? I need unidirectional connection between the computer and
the storage device, because I need to use the USB flash memory as a read only device.
Solution
The answer is no. You do need to use both fibers Tx and Rx as the 2170 and 2171 communicate with each other. In
addition, USB requires bi-directional communication as it needs to know what peripherals are attached to it.
