S.I. Tech, Inc. offers a wide selection of fiber optic media converters that convert electrical signals
to light, allowing data to be transmitted over fiber optic cabling. This enables data to be transmitted farther,
reduces EMI/RFI interference, and provides for secure communications. (See why

S.I. Tech fiber optic media converters (fiber modems) are available in various form factors depending
upon the protocol selected. The media converter can be placed in a Mini, a Stand-Alone unit, a 1U High Rack, on
a Euro Card, or board level (PCB). Most mini media converters can be Panel or DIN rail mounted.
