Problem
We are considering the 2817 model (1300nm) for transferring a digital TTL pulse signal (PPS, 1 pulse per second).
We have some questions:
1. What is delay (in nanoseconds) from incoming electrical TTL pulse on 2817, and to outgoing electrical TTL pulse on 2817-R?
2. Does the 2817 link manage to transfer constant DC levels like logical 0 and 1, or must it have continuous activity on the line?
Solution
The incoming electrical TTL pulse on the 2817-T-SM delay is 22ns and to outgoing electrical TTL pulse on 2817-R-SM is 36ns.
The 2817 link transfers constant DC levels.
